Bury & Hilton will visit your property / land and advise if it is suitable to sell at an auction.

Bury & Hilton will discuss the market conditions and the likely market value of the property / land and advise what the likely reserve price will be

An auction date will be arranged and the marketing process will begin. Bury & Hilton will prepare sales details, advertise extensively and show potential buyers around the property. We like to have at least six weeks to advertise the property to ensure that is is exposed as much as possible before the auction date.

Before the auction we will contact your solicitor to prepare a contract, searches and details of any special conditions of the sale.

We will confirm a reserve price with you prior to the auction.

The auction will be held at a local venue. The auctioneer will start the auction and work hard to get the best possible price for you.

When the hammer falls at the auction, it signifies the agreement of a binding contract between buyer and seller. The buyer pays 10% of the sale price of the property before leaving the auction room and is committed to his purchase. The buyer then completes the transaction within 28 days.
